Meet up in MedellÍn, the City of Eternal Spring
Medellín is bustling modern city with a complicated past. Still recovering the drug cartel wars of the ‘1970s and ‘80s and the legacy of Pablo Escobar the Medellín has made incredible strides. However, many neighborhoods and barrios are not as fortunate. We’ll explore a variety of well known areas including El Poblada and Communa 13 to understand both sides of Medellín’s recovery.
Dive into the mud volcano of El Totumo
Tradition has it that El Totumo used to be fire and lava, before being tamed by a local priest. This priest banished the devil with holy water and turned the volcano to mud trapping the heat inside. This naturally warmed mud supposedly has a variety of healing properties. Come discover for yourself!

One of the purposes of life, as well as one of the most fulfilling and meaningful things to do, is to positively influence the world around you. Based on a lot of research on how to avoid the pitfalls of short term voluntourism, Justifi gets involved in some hands on volunteering through local organisations who are working with some of the most vulnerable people in society. Clean Accommodations in the best locations
Simple, clean hostel and guest house accommodations for all nights of the program in all the coolest areas. Perfect to come back to after full days of activities! Wifi available.
DAILY [KOSHER] MEALS
Breakfast and lunch provided daily with evening free for dinner. All food provided is kosher and kosher option is available for dinner as well.
*Always enough food but if you are a bit picky or like certain snacks, please feel free to bring what you like with you.
Arrival & Departure Info
Note that the trip starts in Medellín and ends in Cartagena. Return flight from Cartagena should be booked as part of your initial flight or in advance if you do not plan on extending.
Secure Domestic Transportation
Planes, trains, shuttles, and automobiles! We go pretty far off the traditional tourist path, and will provide the necessary transport to get us where we're going!
