FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR TRIP:

Arriving Flight Requirements: 

Please book your flight to arrive by the morning of 3rd Aug into JNB International Airport.  

We will have an optional meet up and pick up at 10am in the JNB Airport.

Our program starts at 4pm in the hotel lobby on the first day of the trip. The hotel is The Ascot, Norwood

The address is 59 Grant Ave, Norwood, Johannesburg, 2192, South Africa

We will serve lunch at 1pm for anyone arriving earlier. 

Departing Flight Requirements:  

Book return flights home from CPT International Airport in Cape Town any time on Sunday 13th Aug.

Arrival Instructions and Hotel Directions:

 

Visas: A visa is NOT required for U.S. Citizens for stays less than 90 days in South Africa. Other nationalities can check www.visahq.com for specific visa requirements.


Getting a Taxi: The best way to get to the hotel is via UBER. We recommend you have the UBER app downloaded on your phone as you will be able to utilize the airports free-wifi in requesting an UBER pickup. 

 


Dress Code

Skirts should reach the knee, necklines should reach the collarbone, sleeves should cover at least half the upper arm. Short sleeves are acceptable but not cap sleeves please. Feel free to wear leggings under skirts or aladdin pants. There are no guidelines for footwear or legwear from the knee down! 

For those amongst you who observe the rules of Das Yehudis when it comes to stockings or socks, Justifi’s posek ruled for our groups that Das Yehudis need not apply when we are away from established Jewish communities. We recommend that you ask your own halachic shailos if you have any questions!
